Veronica LaVery
Veronica LaVery (birth name: Veronika Poloprutska III.) was born in 1991 in the Czech Republic to a Slovakian mother and a Polish/Irish father. She grew up in a small northern town called Vrchlabí, known as the Gate to the Giant Mountains (Krkonoše) of the Czech Republic. While in Vrchlabí, Veronika attended both an art and dance school along with acting classes where she was trained to play musical instruments, sing, craft, act and dance. She was also a singer in a punk-rock band named Driak, where she was the only female, and only 15yo(!). She has done various stage plays, band and dance performances and wasn't shy about being seen and heard by masses. These creative years in such a young age gave Veronika a solid base for her future (completely unplanned) career in the entertainment industry.
When Veronika moved to the US she had to leave her first adolescent love, great friends, and all the good stuff back in her country. "Coming from a place where you always had things to do, had a wonderful circle of friends and community and you were excited about life I got myself in a place where I didn't know anything or anybody, and I had no creative outlets or nothing that would make me happy.. As a broken family we just had one another and we had to make it work. This is why Modeling became such a big passion for me, I was able to see that I'm actually enjoying something once again, I started loving being in front of a camera and in front of an audience as I was used to with my art school and that old band. Finding a talent that I didn't know I had gave me something to look forward to and focus on. I came here as a tomboy with piercings and crazy hair, I had no idea what it is to be a feminine woman and taking glamorous pictures, so the first shoot will always remain in my memory because it skyrocketed the path for me. I was discovered by Playboy and that helped me to put my name on the map, I shot for the cyber girl back in the day when it used to be less 'pornish' and was featured in countless of Playboys around the world, including being a Playmate Czech Republic April 2012, I had magazine covers all over the world, magazines such as Maxim, Esquire, FHM and more along with tattoo magazines because I used to have tattoos, which are now lasered off. Hosting TV shows, appearing in movies, judging Miss Malaysia.. life has been filled with wonderful opportunities and all of that because I put my heart and mind to what made me happy. I was living in LA for over 8 years and Acting opportunities were coming in my way as well, music videos, commercials, editorials, traveling the world… just a life of hard-working model, it's been nothing but an awesome journey, which I never thought of I would be on but I had to work hard at it because nothing in my life came easy."
In February 2008, after 17 years of living in the Czech Republic, Veronika moved to Sacramento, California. Without knowing anybody or anything about living outside Europe, Veronika had to adjust herself to a brand new lifestyle, culture, and language. In June 2009, Veronika graduated from the Foothill High School, Sacramento and enrolled in college to study Cultural Anthropology, Business and Interior Design. It was during this time that she got an opportunity to model and traded her passion for Interior design for photoshoots. Modeling allowed Veronika to use her prior knowledge of acting and dancing to express herself in a whole new way which she quickly fell in love with. in 2011, Veronika moved to Southern California to pursue her modeling career, however; she's always felt like modeling is really just a start of getting her self back to where she used to be in the Czech Republic, and that is- in front of a mass audience and back on stage.
Veronika used to be a vegan for nearly 20 years, then became a pescatarian when she moved to Florida (2021) and now is back to slowly including meat in her diet. Health is everything and when you're tuned in with your body, it's easy to listen to its' needs and change your diet habits accordingly. This health nut loves a good sweaty workouts, spending time in nature, yoga, pilates and over all staying in shape as well as developing her mind & spirit. An internal & spiritual growth with a happiness within has been the major focus on Veronika's daily agenda.
Besides her entertainment ventures as a SAG-AFTRA actress, the world of Youtube used to be one of the creative outlets for Veronika. Her YouTube channel started in February 2019, experienced a rapid growth, got Youtube Awards and millions of views yet was demonetized in 2021. From being demonetized, canceled and deleted from all social media on numerous occasions over the years; she had to rebuild her fan base so many times that it makes her head spin, but when you're passionate about something and you love what you do all of that rebuilding becomes just a piece of cake and just a question of time.. However, looking back and loosing MILLIONS of followers from both Facebook and Instagram accounts were not easy tasks to handle. When Youtube decided to do the same to Veronika, she did not pursue any of that revamping any longer..
Currently, in 2024 Veronika is living in Clearwater Florida, where she moved to from California after Covid to get her freedom back; she started doing real estate locally and got awards for that as a new agent; which again shows that if you put your mind into something and you work hard at it, you can achieve whatever you want and whatever is within your capabilities- as long as it's not too delusional 🙂
Besides being a licensed Real Estate agent in the state of Florida, California licensed Skin Therapist; and having her B.A. degree from CSULA in Film, TV & Media Studies, Veronika enjoys working with children and loves to be surrounded by their creative minds. She worked as a Substitute Teacher for the Czech Consulate while living in Los Angeles, CA.
Veronika's main focus has became her real estate career; so don't hesitate to contact her for any real estate needs! However; with the ever changing market, Veronika switches gears accordingly and knows when it's a good time to step back and currently focuses on her modeling instead until the Real estate market gets better (March 2024).
Veronika's dog, Timmy has been a big part of her life, and he's been with her for 10 years now, many photographers know him, because he accompanies her to her shoots if possible. Timmy is a Petite Brabancon and is her teenage dream dog that she knew she will get one day since she was 13 yo.
..Yes, dreams do come true!
